Transmitter Brewing Joins Craft Collective in Boston
Transmitter Brewing is a six barrel brewery located in Long Island City, NYC. Owners Rob Kolb and Anthony Accardi focus on creating bottle and keg conditioned farmhouse ales inspired by the Belgian and French brewing traditions. We'll be bringing in a rotating offering of bottles on a monthly basis. First up are G4 Tart Golden Ale and S4 Saison. For G4, half of the liquid was kettle soured and the other half wasn't. The batches were combined and fermented on a single strain of Brett. Huell Melon and Nelson Sauvin hops were used. The result: a slightly tart, pineapple and citrus flavored golden ale of 6.6% ABV. S4 Saison is a subtly dry-hopped Saison of 7.2% ABV. Notes of Pepper and Stone Fruit are present. Transmitter makes some really special beer and we're pumped to have them in Boston.
Schilling Beer Company at The Publick House & Lord Hobo
Schilling Beer Company is a family-owned, Continental-European inspired artisanal brewery in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Please join us in kicking off their presence in Boston with two events this weekend -- Friday 5/29 9:00 PM at Lord Hobo and Saturday 5/30 6:00 PM at The Publick House. Three beers will be featured at both events. These are the first times Schilling's beers will be available at a retail account! Schilling will also be pouring at ACBF.
Going forward we will be bringing limited quantities of draft beer to Boston for distribution to a small number of accounts. Bottles will follow later this year. Welcome, Schilling!
