The Tap Brewing Company is Back in Boston

The Tap Brewing Company has a long history of pleasing Boston-area craft beer drinkers as a self-distributing brewery.  After taking the winter off from distributing outside of their Haverhill pub, we're please to announce that The Tap is back.  This time, they're coming to market with Craft Collective.  TBC's offerings will be distributed through Greater Boston.  Initial availability is draft-only and includes Intergalactic Acid Berliner Weisse and Bitter Rival IPA.  Packaged offerings will commence in a few weeks.  Also look out for The Tap at the American Craft Beer Festival on May 29-30.  They're be pouring Intergalactic Acid, Bitter Rival, a Lemongrass/Rose Hip Saison called Grass Widow and a Belgian lager called Opus.

SingleCut Beersmiths Mo' Shuggie Soulbender IPA

SingleCut Beersmiths will package their second beer destined for Massachusetts on Tuesday, 5/19.  We'll be there that afternoon to pick it up and it will hit accounts on Thursday, 5/21.  Mo' Shuggie Soulbender IPA is a powerful 7.2% IPA featuring New Zealand hops.  It pours a hazy orange and packs a ton of fruit on the nose and in the taste.  We're getting mango and passion-fruit with some citrus layered in.

The Queen of Cologne

Queen City Brewery has released City Beer.  Warm-fermented and then cold-conditioned, this is QCB's version of Kölsch, the city beer of Cologne, Germany.  City Beer contains 100% German pilsner malt, has a subtle, grainy aroma and finishes with a delicate bitterness.  This refreshing day drinker will be available in the Boston area throughout the Summer. (5.0% ABV, 30 IBU).
